Because statistics are not just numbers — they are lives. 1 in 3 women experiences violence at some point in her life.
Thousands of young people grow up without equal opportunities, deprived of their right to dream, to learn, and to succeed.

Equality, safety, and dignity should never be privileges. And yet, every day, we witness the devastating effects of silence, injustice, and fear.

At IMANI, we have chosen not to remain passive. We stand up. We act — through art, dialogue, and empowerment.

IMANI was born from a conviction: that change begins when we trust people’s potential, when we nurture voices too often unheard, and when we create spaces where everyone can rise.

We believe in the power of human connection — in the courage to heal, to rebuild, and to become. Together, we turn awareness into action, and stories into transformation.

Raise awareness

We create impactful theatre productions, artistic events, and debates that open eyes and hearts — shedding light on the realities of gender-based violence and social exclusion, while promoting equality and dialogue.

Educate

We intervene in schools and communities to foster understanding, empathy, and respect. Our educational workshops address gender equality, self-esteem, and the mechanisms of discrimination from an early age.

Inspire

Through exhibitions and testimonies of inspiring role models, we give visibility to stories of resilience and success that expand horizons and awaken ambition in those who doubt their own potential.

Mobilise

We encourage civic engagement through creative initiatives such as prevention campaigns and youth competitions — giving the next generation the opportunity to take ownership of the values of equality and respect.

We provide tailored coaching programmes and safe spaces where women can rebuild confidence, heal, and redefine their personal and professional paths.

We design mentoring and employability pathways to help women and young people access opportunities, develop new skills, and achieve sustainable autonomy.

Through this partnership, IMANI provides free bus transportation for students participating in its awareness-raising theatre performances, ensuring access and inclusion for all.
